We got rid of the duvet cover.
Dolcenida makes bedding for people who'd rather sleep than fight with laundry. One piece, into the machine, back on the bed. That's the whole idea, and most of what we do is refusing to make it more complicated.
The chore nobody bothered to redesign
The duvet cover has hardly changed in a hundred years. You climb inside it, shake it, mutter a few words, and hope the corners end up in the right place. Then you wash the cover, and the duvet inside goes straight back on the bed, unwashed, like it has for years.
That's the part that bothered us most. Not the wrestling, even if that's annoying enough. It's that the thing you actually sleep under almost never gets cleaned, because cleaning it is such a hassle that most people quietly skip it.
So we made the duvet and the cover one single piece. Wash the whole thing at 40°C in a normal machine, tumble dry it or hang it up, and put it back. Bedding you can keep as fresh as a fitted sheet.

Honest about the limits
